How to use NeonChip

Play a beat

• Tap steps on Kick / Snare / Hat to turn them on/off
• Tap Bass or Lead steps → pick a note
• Press ▶ PLAY (or Spacebar)

Patterns (A–Z)

• Choose a letter → SAVE to store the current beat
• LOAD brings that pattern back
• Each pattern also remembers its waveform

Song chain

• Type letters like ABABC or A B A B C
• Press ▶ SONG to play them in order (loops)
• ❚❚ pauses / resumes

Live keyboard

• Tap or swipe across the keys to play
• Change Instrument for different chip sounds

Extras

• RANDOM generates a new groove
• CLEAR empties the sequencer
• Seq Wave changes the sound of Bass & Lead
• Everything saves in your browser automatically
• Song slots 1–9 — SAVE/LOAD full songs (chain + patterns)
• EXPORT downloads a .json file to reuse in other games
